Introduction

Welcome to Pulse ("the App"), a gamified social paper trading app developed and operated by Ishaan Gulati ("I", "me", or "my"). This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Pulse.

By using Pulse, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information I Collect

• Account Information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Usage Data: Features used, trades placed, pages visited, session duration, and in-app actions — collected automatically via Firebase.
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, and unique device identifiers collected by Firebase.
• User-Generated Content: Trading activity, portfolio data, posts, and leaderboard entries you create.

I do not collect financial account numbers, payment information, Social Security numbers, real-time location, or health data.

How I Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account
• Provide, operate, and improve the App
• Display leaderboards, XP, and social feed content
• Analyze usage trends to improve user experience
• Send important service-related communications
• Monitor and maintain the security and integrity of the App
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

Third-Party Services

I use Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, and analytics. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy.

I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. I do not use advertising networks or ad SDKs. Data may be shared only to comply with legal obligations, protect user safety, or with your explicit consent.

I do not share data from users under 18 with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

I retain your information while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time from within the App via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by contacting me directly. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Pulse is intended for users aged 13 and older. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact me immediately and I will delete it promptly.

App Tracking Transparency

Pulse does not track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes. Firebase Analytics is used solely to improve the App experience and does not collect identifiable information from minors.

Data Security

I implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data including secure Firebase authentication, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), and restricted access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent for data collection
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. I will revise the "Last Updated" date and notify you via the App or email where appropriate.
